Make the Most of Master's Opportunities in Austria
In the Austrian education system, apart from a few exceptions, Bachelor's and Master's studies are offered in an integrated (combined) form. As a result, students at Austrian universities are deemed to have earned a Master's degree once they complete four years of study. In engineering programmes this period is 5 years, and in medicine 6 years.
At the end of their studies, students are awarded the title of Magister (Master) and can apply directly to a doctoral programme without any additional examination. This structure offered by Austrian universities is a major advantage for students aiming for an academic career.
With its up-to-date knowledge of the Austrian university system and its academic experience, DBT Danışmanlık helps students plan this process correctly and complete it in full. For students who have completed a university degree in Turkey and wish to do a Master's in Austria, DBT Danışmanlık carries out a preliminary assessment of the courses taken in Turkey and presents them appropriately to the relevant university committees.
Courses found suitable are recognised as equivalent, and guidance is given on any courses that are missing. Once the remaining coursework and the thesis have been successfully completed, students are considered Bachelor's + Master's graduates and are awarded the title of Magister (Master).
From this point on, students can apply directly to a doctoral programme without taking any entrance exam. DBT Danışmanlık provides professional support at every step, from the application and document preparation to correspondence with universities and enrolment, so that students can progress without losing time or forfeiting their rights.
